So one of the reasons to have a blog is obviously to plug junk you do. You can file PROOF OF CONCEPT from AIT/PlanetLar under “Junk I do”.

PROOF OF CONCEPT isn’t quite like anything you’ve read before–it’s part anthology, part “how-to”, part “artist-search” contest, and, I think, part pet project of AIT honcho Larry Young (also known as He-Who-Gives-Me-Work).
Basically, Larry posted 5 different 12-page scripts over at comicworldnews.com, and challenged would-be arteests, such as moi, to illustrate them within the time alloted. For each story, he selected one entry based primarily on art, and (I like to think) overall physical attractiveness of the artist.
My art was selected for For the Time Being, in which time-travelling space cadets watch naked men float through space. I also inked and graytoned Zombie Dinosaur, over Steven Sander’s pencils. I sort of lucked out on that one–his art was awesome, I just sort of piggy-backed. And added EVEN MORE gruesome man-bits.
PROOF OF CONCEPT is $12.95, form AIT/PlanetLar, and is probably just sitting on the shelf of your local comic shop, pining for your affection.
